We are thrilled to share our experiences from the impactful youth exchange project, "“Later” Means too Late," held in Vilnius, from February 24th to March 2nd, 2024. With reference number 2023-1-LT02-KA152-YOU-000120901, this initiative brought together passionate young minds from Lithuania, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Türkiye, Hungary, and Iceland. The primary focus was the issue of global warming.
As the Hungarian partner, For Renewal Environmental Association was honored to collaborate with organizations across Europe for a shared mission. The week in Vilnius was not just an exchange of ideas; it was a collective call to action, encapsulated in the project's poignant title, "“Later” Means too Late."
As advocates for environmental renewal and sustainability, we were eager to contribute our insights and learn from our fellow participants. The host country, Lithuania, provided the perfect backdrop for fostering a sense of urgency in addressing climate change.
Hungarian participants returned home as catalysts for change. Armed with newfound knowledge and a heightened sense of responsibility. The multinational nature of the exchange fostered collaboration and networking opportunities. Hungarian participants built connections with like-minded individuals from different corners of Europe, creating a network that transcends borders and facilitates ongoing collaboration on climate-related initiatives.
